KLEIN Bicycle Corporation
American bike manufacturer, created in 1985 by Gary Klein.
The brand is famous for innovations such as: introducing the use of aluminum alloy tubing, commercializing “Mission Control” MC’s that eliminated clamping bolts and excess material, and creating an improved method of routing cables through the frame of a bike. KLEIN mountain bikes were known for their paint schemes that offered a variety of colors and custom designs, such as the Adroit and the Attitude for example.
The brand will be bought by Trek in 1995 and its adventure will end in 2009.
